Being a Production Manager is like being a mum; you clean up everybody else’ mess and have to say no a lot. While mum’s are sometimes under-appreciated, everyone knows they’re the ones with super powers.

My spirit animal is a “shih tzu”, which literally means “Lion Dog” in Chinese. Let’s just say it describes my personality with uncanny accuracy.

Debate Night. Who knew a BBC Scotland panel show made up of Scottish MP’s and Glaswegian personalities could be so scintillating?

Film and television has a wonderful way of transporting us from our couches to beautiful vistas, or in front of delicious looking meals. That’s partly because our online editor Appy, locks herself in a room full of screens making sure every frame looks just right, and if she can help it, better than the real thing!

When an episode comes to me it looks really flat and grey and has no pretty graphics in it. When it leaves me it looks shiny, sparkly and colourful.

Kardashians….Don’t mind a bit of a binge now and then lol. Also at the other end of the scale it’s not necessarily guilty but Country Calendar is legit as good a storytelling as you will find, and I hope by saying this people forgive the Kardashians part hahaha.

FAVOURITE PLACE IN THE WORLD?
The East Coast of the North Island of NZ. Ngati Porou country. The best place in the world. Don’t tell anyone.

Jaoquin Phoenix. When I was younger and skinnier people said i looked like him and also because he won best actor at the 2020 Academy Awards.

Professional motion graphic designer by day, gamer by night, Gie spends most of her time making something or destroying noobs in game. Driven by curiosity, you’d mostly find her embarking on a hot new project to add to the list of other projects she’s obsessed about during the week – whether it be making her own clothes, trying her hand at drawing or adding a new plant baby to her space. Perhaps one day she will actually finish illustrating that children’s book she’s been working on since she graduated.

I can fold all my fingers to the first knuckle. It has saved my life twice as far as I remember. I can hold on to any ledge, no matter how small it is.

It would be really really cool if there is an app that you can use that accurately says what font they used, and colour hex code straight from your phone, or even find out who made it!

Born in the 50s, and bred out West (Tāmaki Makaurau). Glen has been gainfully employed in the film & TV industry since the 70s. Humble Glen quotes “I’m quite good at this video editing”, but we all know there are no hiccups when we work with this guy.

An app with a voice that says “Shush!”, out loud when, your phone detects someone who has reached the ‘talking limit’. The limit is adjustable to your personal preference’s at the time of course. That also has a feature with the a voice that says “That’s a dumb question!”

James has spent 20 years on the dark side – hiding from the sun in an edit suite and cutting a wide range of content from children’s TV to hunting shows. Now he works to help his team of Pango post gremlins technically and creatively craft a swathe of linear broadcast and online shows.

Tash is a hard worker who enjoys the day to day variety of working in post production here at Pango. An employer’s dream, Tash finds the idea of a 2 day weekend overrated and thinks that any more than one day off is unproductive. Much like a supermodel, the only time he leaves his house outside of work is if someone else is paying him to do it. Rather than being called cheap he prefers the term ‘financial minimalist’.
